Hi Gerard, my names Carol (caz) on this board. I was advised to ask if you knew of anyone in Canada that breeds Watonai. Recently lost the only one I had to a heron!
I live in Ontario and find it hard enough to get Wakins, but Watonai seem impossible and places like Blackwater Creek and Raingarden are not an option for me.
Thanks for any info you can give,

Hi Carol, Unfortunately, the watonai is a goldfish variety I've never seen. They are either rare in Canada or I've not paid much attention to it. I'll check with a couple of friends and get back to you.

Do you still sell Bristol Shubunkins? And can or do you send to USA?

Shipping cross border is near impossible. For Bristols in the US, contact Cincy ranchu on ths list. Good luck!

I'm in Vancouver but I have a friend in Quebec that comes here on a reg basis. I'd try 2 talk her into bringing them if shipping is cost prohibitive. Email is dceul@eastlink.ca

Need to know where you live, in the USA or Canada? Shipping can be hard or simple according to country.

      Hi!
I have been looking for a goldfish breeder that carries butterfly tail telescopes. Do you carry these and do you ship to Manitoba?
      Thank you

I have a brood of 3 weeks old telescope fry. I'll have to do some serious culling and see.

      Bonjour Gerard,
I had contacted you in Nov. of last year. We are currently in the process of selling our house and relocating to Vancouver Island, hopefully by next summer. I hope to establish a goldfish pond again in my new home. Would you fly young fish to Vancouver Island? There are three VI air terminals that service Air Canada, and WestJet: Comox, Nanaimo and Victoria. We will be located 20 minutes from Nanaimo and 40 minutes from Comox. Would you send fish that far? I am interested in good quality young veil/broadtails. You also sent me the name of a Canadian Shubunkin breeder but I no longer can find it.
      Hope to hear from you
      Lee

      Bonjour Gerard,
Do you ship out west? I live in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. I have a few Ryukins that have some veil tail characteristics (high dorsals) and wouldn't mind trying veils as i have always thought they were the most beautiful of the goldfish. Do you know anyone with Bristol Shubunkins? Another one of my favourites.
      regards
      Lee

      Thanks Gerard,
It's been a hard couple of years, but I'm doing pretty well. I don't have a single fish right now. I've got the goldfish genetics bug again, but haven't figured out how to fit a tank in my apartment and still have room to move. Good to hear from you.

Long time admirer of your knowledge and wisdom on this forum. Thank you for taking the time to share it with all of us who enjoy learning. Was wondering if you sell your fish, if you ship or not. Would rather buy from a breeder within a nation then get a low qual import from the local LFS.

      Hello Its Stephane.
I guess I have been on the site for a few months now, but really have not explored it much.
I have mostly been on raffles gold and pets fanatics goldfish club.

I will be talking to you shortly.
      cheers

      hey G!

How did things go in the UK?

I kinda lost interest in goldfish. I still try to feed everyday. I think once I move, I will just keep Azuma, lf ranchu and blue ranchu....and maybe some mondens. I did not go to Japan since I kinda lost interest so fast.

Hope all is well....I will check out your pics now.
