    Hi All,
All Japan Ranchu Show is one of the biggest ranchu show in this world. The show for 2014 was held at Osaka, Japan. (Yes, they go to different city every year).

I was lucky enough to attend this show this year and bring some pics to share with you guys. Enjoy!!!

    10 inch

Is a 10 inch top view ranchu in the same body proportion as a 2, 4 or 6 inch fish?

    Thanks Tun Tun

Wow, wow and wow. Thanks Fred, really nice pictures and the quality was really neat. I think we could talk about these for weeks. Maybe at the next Breeders Social.

I noticed picture 28 did not appear to have a tail split and number 34 has an unusual tail shoulder.

At the close of the show it appear that the coolers were going in a truck. Are people shipping fish to many cities from the show or just OSAKA.

I am also curious hor many fish are being entered?

Did you meet any breeders? Visit any breeders?

What is the process for registering ranchu into the competition? Can anyone enter? Or do you have to win a local/regional event to be promoted into AJRS?

Fred, some good photography! What an impressive fish and variety, I had to put the towel on the floor, to catch my drool.

They drived to Osaka from different parts of Japan.. Roughly there are about 100+ pieces in each class.

I met a couple breeders both Japanese and Thai breeder. I didn't have a chance to visit any breeder. But got an invitation for next time.. :)

I am not sure the procedure to enter the fish..

Beautiful photos Fred... thanks for taking and posting all of them to the site. What strikes me most about these fish is the amazing heads.
