Tomorrow, I'll be filming two videos, one for Fish Store Myths and the other about cleaning filters. My online merchandise just went live and thought I'd share. I'd love to hear your thoughts :D

Gotcha. That does explain why your filters require heavy cleaning weekly. 5 medium/large fish in a just over 60 gallons. Lol that's a lotta poop. Anyway, you did an excellent job of showing how to clean everything. Your fish are cute by the way. Jojo is my favorite. I applaud you for doing such a diligent job. My tanks became too much of a task with stuff like that and I ended up buying an outdoor pool and chucking all the fish in it XD. So major kudos.

Thank you! Lucy came from a local store actually. She and Comet (the little Oranda) were in the same shipment and the lady that owns the store knows me well. Comet has a tail defect and Lucy has balance issues in deeper tanks. She was having trouble selling them and asked me if I would take them. Of course I said yes!

Lucy is lovely. Do you breed at all? I think I will try my hand raising fry next spring. Will be my first attempt. Knight is the lovely PetSmart dude who grew big quickly. Funny because my only single tail is a PetSmart fish and she's already outgrown all my fish from last year. Knight reminds me of a giant version of my fish Kanama, who I will be attempting to ship to a friend soon.

I'm not breeding right now. I'm finishing my nursing degree but I will once I'm done and moved out. I don't have the space in my parents house.

Knight is my problem child. He only gets along with Comet and Lucy. If I put him with any other fish, he will torture them. He also knows when feeding time is. If I'm even 30 minutes behind, he'll come up to the surface and start banging his head against the glass.
