Cyst? Tumor?

    This just appeared out of nowhere, all the parameters are fine. I've had him for 2 years. It doesn't appear fungal, it appears like a growth...a cyst..
    He's acting completely normal. That red spot is something on the lens or screen, not on him. lump1 (2).jpg lump2 (2).jpg
    Thoughts?

    What's else is on the tank, other fish, decor etc.

    No such thing as parameters being fine, what are the exact readings

    Right now, that looks more like an infected spot (pimple) than a tumor, at least in the second picture. If so, it should rupture soon. If you have other fish in the tank, you should remove this one to a quarantine tank so it doesn't spew bacteria through the water and infect other fish.
