Are shukin and egg pheonix the same?
If they aren't, what are the difference and characteristic the breed has?

The shukin or tsugaru nishiki is a Japanese breed. A general description of a shukun would be a long finned ranchu. The egg phoenix is a Chinese breed, the fish are a little slimmer and have no headgrowth.

Could you get something that looks like a shukin if you breed a ranchu to a oranda and inbreed for a few generation?

That's the way the shukins are supposed to have been developed! But why start from scratch when you can get them from Harris Zane?
