image.jpeg image.jpeg I've been on this forum for a while now, but I haven't posted anything until now. I enjoy reading everyone's posts and I learned a lot by just reading threads. Just wanna properly introduce myself.
I have 4 ranchu goldfish. Based out of Hawaii. And hope I can get any help/advice from anyone whenever something comes up. Thanks in advance!

Hi laidoka & thanks. I have a 30gal. long. I'm running 3 filters actually. I have an emporer 400, a penguin biowheel 330, and a sponge filter lol.

Your water seems quite clear and your fishies happy.

Sponge filters are probably the most underrated filters out there.

Thank you fishheadz. I purchased them from pet depot in ewa beach and moanalua pets in salt lake. All LFS on Oahu, but I'm not sure if they're from Steve. Who is Steve, and what does he do? if you don't mind me asking

Steve runs RainGarden Goldfish (& tropical flowers), in Kaneohe.

I was curious because a:they look like very similar to his stock, b:your location to him.
I am uncertain if Steve sells off any of his stock to LFS's, or if all his sales are online only, I know he states on his site local pick-up is available, the selection, and purchase must be made online, but can arrange to meet at his gate for you to pick-up, no public in pond areas due to insurance issues.

I took some time to search it up, I didn't know about Raingarden till now. Interesting stuff. But I'm not sure if my fish have any connection to Steve.
