Wondering if you thought my Japanese calico tosakin is nice? He's only little
look like a strong one. Hope it gets the right tail when getting bigger.
Yea it looks like it should, how long dose it usually take for the tail to form properly as I have never raised tosakin before?
very nice not too many calico tosakins, do you have pictures of the parents. Raise them in shallow water with very little current
I don't have pictures of the patents sadly it was imported from Japan by Starfisherys and I was told it is from a good bloodline. He is being kept in very shallow water with wayer changes every day The calico seems different to anything I have seen or is it because it hasn't got all its colors developed properly yet?
it takes time for the calico colors to reach their full potential, your fish appears to have a lot of potential
I'm feeding mostly blood worm I haven't seen much on what to feed tosakin for optimum form, do you know any secret tips?
Also I have noticed that both gill plates are metalic shiny silver it look really cool never really seen that before
