    Hello,

I purchased thee two last week and they are still in their QT tank. Can I get some opinions/feedback if these could be show quality? They are fed saki hikari and FBW

They look more like Fantails and the tail on one of them looks flat.

They are still babies. We'll see how they turn out in a few months. I did get them from a reputable importer.

I really like that yellow color on them, looks really cool!

I agree with GoldenMcNewbie, though, they definitely look more like fantails than ryukins. There doesn't seem to be a hump, for one, more of a gradual curve from the head through the body. And the one's tail really does look flat, almost inverted, while swimming. They are very cute though, and who knows, maybe they will grow that up in time. Continue feeding lots of bloodworms, for sure :)

We can see this yellow color mostly on single tail fish. If they are a pair, breed them to produce more yellow fantails.

I wonder if I could cross them with a singled colored oranda to produce some yellow oranda. I would imagine it would take quite a few generations. What do I know?

Unfortunately, I can't see any tosakin like feature, else than a flat horizontal tail. Try to find a male and breed them to fix the yellow color on a twin tail goldfish.
