Does anybody know how to make a 50-100 gallon above-ground pond without a pond liner or any super expensive materials? and what are those bowl ponds i see people in japan using to breed goldfish called?

You can use heavy duty plastic, but it may not hold up for many years. some people use what they call billboard tarps, which are vinyl, and you can get them used:

but for a small pond like you are thinking about, you could look for used rubber stock troughs, galvanized tubs or even small used preformed ponds - I see them all the time on Craigslist.

Forgive me, but the questions are all a bit haphazard and inconsistent.

In various threads you have said "I am prepared to spend lots of money and have 2 acres, so i have plenty of space, im getting a well soon so i have fresh water" Then you have added "Does anybody know how to make a 50-100 gallon above-ground pond without a pond liner or any super expensive materials?" and then "I'm moving to Australia in 2 years,"

Can you tell us exactly what you are hoping to achieve and what you have read already as I think we can help if you structure the questions

ok so how its working is im building a different pond on this thread then my other threads, this one is for my little brother at his dads house (we have different dads) and i dont want to spend much on his since hes 13, and i have 2 acres at my house and am willing to spend a lot of money because thats for my mom, whos also a goldfish enthusiast, and im moving to Australia in two years and im going to continue my goldfish breeding projects there, hopefully, so i have a lot going on and just asking some questions for various situations in different requirements. thats all.

ok, and what have you or your mum read about goldfish keeping and breeding? Do you have, for example the Johnson & Hess book on Fancy Goldfish? If not then I strongly recommend you buy it as it will help you greatly.

Also you most likely won't be able to bring your goldfish to australia.
They have pretty strict quarantine here.

i know a lot about modern goldfish keeping an i don't have that book, and i will look into the book though, what is the quarantine there? how many hours/days/months/years? and i know that export and import is hard there, well mostly export, because they protect there wildlife very well there.
