I have some shubunkin mix babies, they could have been fathered by a comet, a moor ,or an oranda, or all the males together.

Some of the babies have very round heads, this first one more so than the others, almost like an orandas head. Is he getting a wen? Or it it just likely that the moor or oranda males were the father of these fatheaded fry?

These are pets, I know there ugly lol. Im not culling them.

Yes, looks like the first one was fathered by an oranda. Interesting.

Ken from dandy orandas has been posting single tail orandas on his auctions. So what you have is not too unusual. Your fish are not ugly at all. Enjoy and nurture them

Thank you, I love them, they are my first goldfish babies ive raised, so there special to me. But they do have various disfigurements, like odd fins and mouths, being an unusual genetic mix thats pretty normal id say. I am happy with the variety of colors I got. It wasnt an intentional breed, but a rescue of eggs from a group of adult fish that liked to spawn regularly.
