Spawning juveniles

    well like the title says my red and white oranda is after my red and not so black anymore ranchu, it kinda freaked me out at first till I realized what was happening, is there any thing I should be doing besides normal water maintenance?

    Nope. Remove anything that could hurt them in case the boys squish the girl into it... And just watch for injuries and everything should be fine. My girls are tough and everything is always just fine.

    Ok so yesterday they were at it again and the smallest oranda I have 4 months old was harassing my 3 month old Ranchu actually got eggs too shoot out but in the process he tore up her anal fins should I move the oranda too a different tank

    not unusual at all goldfish can breed as early as 4 months of age, they usually produce very few eggs or milt. You are doing a good job of conditioning your fish. just make sure the males are not injuring the females

    There’s a few tears on her fins like I said and is this gonna be a monthly deal the last time it happened was 5 or 6 days ago so twice in a week
