Haven't managed to think of names yet but since I'm guessing female I'm calling them the girls for now. Been here almost a month and still strong! Little do they know they're getting a 55 in less than a month!
Thoughts on their development? patterns? Hoping to get them some new tank mates at the October show.

So cute. If they're butterfly tails... A photo from the top is necessary.

will do eventually they're both a bit unwilling to photo well I'll have to try again tomorrow, currently they're probably a bit shaken we moved there entire setup into another room beside a window while we paint and put in the new tank! Hopefuly the sunlight they'll be getting on part of the tank helps color them up like I've been hearing so much

Update on the girls, yea salesman was dead on she's definitely a Moor lol. Gotta love them dark fish I wonder what he'd do if I showed him her change lol.

Edit: no change yet on tri color that I can see they've been beside a window for a week and the colors are improving I swear!

Moors should be totally black. Why would he say she's a moor?

Sadly, it doesn't look like she's going to keep the black. The red and white pattern that she has is quite beautiful on it's own.

Good luck and happy fishkeeping, Jim.

He probably probably thought moor meant telescope, so the fish was a moor, but not a black moor. :)

I don't get that. There's no such thing as a moor that isn't black. Things such as "panda moors" are just black and white telescopes. And these fish aren't moors at all. Moors don't have butterfly tails.

Do you have any updates on the fish's coloration, Hunter? Has tri-color changed at all?
