As I fell across a wounded fancy goldfish in a Swedish facebook platform for aquariumfish I gave the advice to use Iodine (Jodopax in swedish) and all hell broke loose.
I've seen a lot of koikeepers using it and have used it for myself both on fancy goldfish and koi with good result.
They told be that's a stress for the fish and a direct danger for the fish.
As they pointed out, I have only "to do" home videos and is there anybody in here that can provide a link with real scientific facts if this is good or bad for the fish?

    Thanks in advance.

They are likely worrying about iodine in salt. [IMG]
