The white ranchu is a male about 5.5 inches. R/W is a female about 4 inches. Have some fry from the 2 of them that just went horizontal yesterday. See if I can maybe raise a few.

Seems like just about every week and half or so after a big water change they go at it. Think I need to seperate. Female looks alright. But male has really been tearing up his wen. He has actually tore a piece loose. Rubbing I guess ? :youtellme:
You can see it a little in these pictures. On the right cheek. Can also see a few eggs on the bottom of aquarium. Need to take a better picture of wen.

Isn't it usually the other way around? This male is doing some serious chasing. Have you finally separated them?

You would think. Surprised me also. White one is definately male. Been doing all the chasing and have witnessed R/W releasing eggs. Guessing it may just be a matter of the light colored wen showing more that colored wen ? You will see a couple what look like sore(or rub) red spots on white wen. Heal(gone) within 1-2 days. Can barely see red spots from other day.
