Here is how I do my water change for my 90 g tank.

1. I take 90% of water out with a big 3/4" pipe. The bigger the pipe the faster you can empty your tank. Make sure your fish doesn't get stuck at the pipe.

2. Then I add 9 ml of Prime (1ml for every 10 g).

3. Finally I use python to add the water back in. At this point I try to make sure, tape water temperature is identical to the tank water.

sounds simple:-*
but how do you add 9ml of prime to 90% of your water which is about 81 gallons. do you have a seperate container to mix the prime and the water or do you mix it when the water is already in your tank?

When you put tap water directly into tank, you have to treat the whole tank regardless you are changing 30% or 100%. You can put Prime directly into the tank.

I love my python. I have one for in the house and in the barn where my 75 gallon goldfish tank is.
I use it to vacuum the bottom of the tank (I have a less than covered tank bottom with gravel). I will wash out the filters with the water out of the tank as it's going out the drain. Refill.

I luckily do not have to deal with chlorine as I am on a well or I use irrigation water in the summer.

Is irrigation water safe?
Any parasite history?
