HERE (http://z8.invisionfree.com/Advanced_Aquatics/index.php?act=idx) is a link to a forum I just started. Admin here has let me post a link to it. It is for all types of fresh and saltwater aquariums, as well as other pets. there is a whole section on Goldfish.
There is a whole section for articles. Each article is a sticky and threads can be started about either the article itself or the subject of the article. For example, someone setting a peacock cichlid tank may post a thread in the 'Peacock Cichlids' section, where the article on them is posted.
There is also a whole section where people can come and share their setups. Posting details about the equipment, livestock, water changes, etc. as well as pics. This lets us all get to know each other's setups better.
It is still very small. Please come help it grow. I hope to see you all there, as well as here.

Good Luck.
Since this site has formed I've had little need for other forums.
Sometimes when there are to many choices it dilutes the knowledge.
Fortunately most of it has shown up here!

Site looked interesting at first glance but then I read the "Goldfish" section!!!!
Goldfish ancestry not as clear cut as site suggests and doesn't seem able to differentiate between the different carps but, under the heading "groups" of Goldfish the statement that "Wen Goldfish are equipped with a dorsal fin and a fancy tail" indicates that maybe that is one site/forum too many!!! Rather than dilute our discussions, I hope that all serious Goldfish Hobbyists will continue to support the Site for Goldfish Keepers AND ONLY THIS FORUM!!! (maybe I shouldn't say that but when you've got a good thing going DON'T SPOIL IT! (Have got behind with my posts and private Goldfish e-mails so if you're waiting for a reply/response from me, sorry , but I'll try and catch up early next week - blame it on our latest Granddaughter, Darby Lorraine, now 10 days old and almost as lovely as my Ranchu - don't tell the Granny I said that!!!

Where was this? The goldfish section is empty so far and neither of the goldfish articles contain that quote.
Advanced Aquatics is not meant just for goldfish like this one is. It has a goldfish section for goldfish enthusiasts, but it is for all pets, fish especially.
