is this just wen growth

in past few days that i noticed my fish eeyore has developed a piece of wen that is different than rest. i am not sure if an exisiting piece turned color and has pushed out or it is new growth. should i be worried? should i quarentine and treat with something? i can take him out and try to get closer pictures if needed.thanks for any help. seems like i am going to be nothing but trouble on here lol.

I would just add some salt

Just put salt at 1 tablespoon per 5 gal in a 70 gal tank 3 days ago should that be enough?

i use 1 tablespoon per 10 gal of non iodized salt.make water change first

Yesterday it looked like it was pushing its way out. Today it is gone (i almost pulled it off but didnt want to hurt eeyore, wishing i had pulled it out in case its contagious). I hope it wasnt anything wierd like parasite egg sack. That probably sounds stupid but just worried. Is it possible for pieces of wen to get bad or something and break off? Well hopefully thats the last we see of anything like that.
