These are the two I am happiest with at the moment. I'll upload the rest as I get them into more presentable condition. Goldie tank is undergoing a complete overhaul so look forward to that in the coming weeks :D.

This is beautiful.. Do you use seachem to dose? Shrimp only tank?

No dosing in the 10g shrimp tank. The 20L gets excel and tetra once a month fert (probably not the best choice). The shrimp tank has cystal red (A, S grade) and blue pearls that are not doing too well. Our water is way too soft for the neos. The 20g is pseudomugil gertrudae and threadfin rainbows. Also have some amano shrimp, zebra nerites, and bumblebee clithons in there. Thanks for the kind words :D
Love the crystal shrimp, I used to raise red cherry shrimp, they were so easy.

Funny. The blue pearls are supposed to be as easy as the cherries, but they hate my water, so I'm having a lot of trouble with them, and absolutely none with the crystals. It says a lot for picking species to fit your water chemistry I guess.

that tank is so pretty...I love the natural look. I could stare at that all day!:worship:
:s_wow: Now, that's a beautiful tank! How long have you had this one?

Nice.
What do you have in those rocks? Mose, riccia or pella maybe?

Thanks Shannon, Jed, Veryl. The 10 has been set up for about 3 months now, and the 20 has only been up for about a month and a half. They've both got a lot of growing in to do. The rocks in the back have pellia on them, and the ones that make up the lawn have "fern moss". I might switch it out for something else. There's also mini pellia on the front rock.

Which type of flooring or gravel did you use in your tank?

Shrimp tank is straight estes black sand, and the 20L is eco-complete plant substrate. I should post updates of these tanks as they've both grown in quite well. Soon as I get a new cam...

HI Ricky,
I am in the middle of building CRS or Red Bee shrimp tank. Just bought one of the 20G long tank today along with the aqua-clear 30 filter. And my 10G are up and cycle for low grade as trial. Just waiting to put some plant in there and shrimp in couple couple week.
For my 20G tank, My ADA Aqua soil Amazonia I is coming along with some moss and other CRS plant. So just curious about your tank and experience with CRS, since this will be my 1st plant tank. My plant tank might not be something fancy, but design for CRS. So CO2 will not be add to my CRS tank.
By the way, where did you get your CRS? Do they have Hinomaru or Mosura? Or real high grade CRS?

I got my crs from 2 different sources. They are not real high graded stuff, mainly A, S grade but many of them show the hino patter, just not great opacity. I am currently mixing together 2 lines, one with very good opacity, and the other with great white coverage. F1 so far looks good, but we'll see what happens F2. Since you're using aquasoil, make sure the tank is fully cycled before adding any shrimp, as I hear the substrate holds a lot of ammonia when it is new. Good move choosing the ADA though, I hear Pennsylvania has hard water, which the shrimp don't do well in.
