Share what you have, pictures are even better!
I have a 13,500 gallon pond. It houses koi. I took them all inside this winter instead of leaving them out.
There are various "pop up ponds" I keep in greenhouses and hoop houses around the farm here. Stock tanks to kiddie pools. All have various koi and goldfish in them.
Tank we made, houses lillies, goldies and one long fin koi

I find I don't really have pictures of the pond, but here is a video. The pond is still not completely finished..so probably why i don't take pictures as I think it's not pretty.

I have two ponds soon to begin on a third. The two I have are small, third is going to be larger. Hope to get some pics up this spring or summer.

Great question;
I have one 10K to 14K koi/goldfish pond that is state of the art. I also have 5 ponds from 12oo g to 2500 g, and 11 above ground tubs of various sizes, nice vide

I have a "pond" - a 300 gallon stock tank, just to put the goldies in there in the summer months.
I have to think of a better filtration system for this summer. Last year I didn't know how to handle the green water.

UV light is usually the easiest way especially if you only set up the tank in summer basically a new pond every spring.
I have a 300g tank that I put 3 shower drains in the bottom for bottom drains. I left the grates on. The 3 drains tie together with 2" pipe that gravity feeds to a barrel. I used pvc pipe and made an x with legs http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v452/frloplady/Fish%20and%20other%20stuff/pool%20filter/grateholderupper.jpg to hold up a grate.

The pvc x with legs allows a little bit of settling. There is a coarse floor scrubber pad on top of the grate and on that I have a bunch of shower scrubbies I bought at the dollar store. One good layer would be enough. I topped that with a finer floor scrubber pad. Better than the scrubbers pads would be to use matala rounds, but these were much cheaper!
what the pic didn't show was how I brought the water into the tank. I used a bulkhead into the tank (homemade with conduit fittings) and did a T in the approximate middle of the tank. On the ends of the T I put 45 degree elbows to give a bit of a vortex type spin to the water hoping to settle some of the crud out at least.
This filter has been running this winter VERY overstocked with some larger koi that are in sick bay.

A 2,700 gallon pond. These pictures are old and don't show the new changes, so I'll explain.

^This was revised a month or so ago so that the very top pool towards the back could be deepened and made into an "upper" pond of 200 gallons.

^ This is the lower pond, and was extended a few feet to the left.
The whole pond was shifted to the left only a few months after it was built. That added on to it, so I'm not really sure how many gallons exactly it is now.
It's a constant project for my step-dad.

David, where can you buy those large filter mats?

It's called Matala.
It's readily available in the states and I would expect in Canada as well. It's from Taiwan.
Here's their already built little filter from a Canadian vendor (not an endorsement just a quick google search).

I actually have the bio step 10 I bought new from another forum member on Koiphen a year or so ago..Never had set it up, but now have a pump coming that should work with that filter.
Hope to eventually set it up on a large goldie tank..stock tank size
