I've been "out of the loop" for a while. Not sure if anyone remembers me, I was breeding Japanese Ranchu that I got from from Gunn Chusakul (and kept a few Veils from Janet Purdum). Some of you from the GFSA may remember me for the continuous drip water changing system I used. Anyways, to make a long story short,... my company was ripped off, then it imploded, I went bankrupt, lost house, lost wife, got marriage counseling, wife came back, no more fish. It was a wild ride! But, everything is much better now, except that I ended up with absolutely ZERO fish.

At any rate, I'm ready to get back into it. Anyone in the Midwest into Ranchu? I am in Iowa.

I would like to buy some high quality eggs or fry from someone. Would be happy to share with anyone after they mature a little. Would prefer Japanese red stock. I will make and grow my own food for them. :-)

Gary may be able to help you. Personally my fish are hibernating so no spawns till spring. Most will not sell eggs though.

Great thanks!

Its going to be fun setting up again. Without all of my giant plastic stock tanks its going to be a challenge.

I should have room for the little guys until spring, when I can put them outside.

I'll get some brine shrimp going and see if I can track down some whiteworms--- is there a new favorite recipe for growth food? I feel like I've been under a rock for a few years.

I sent a new gel food recipe out about 10 days ago on one of the food threads
