Ranchu Rancher

Hello Everyone:I have had tropical fish in my house of one form or another for the past thirty years. But twenty years ago while at my LFS I spotted this large fish with a funny looking head and the rest is history.The fish was an oranda. Living in the Chicago area fish were easy to find. Soon after getting my first computer I came across a little place that carried only top quality goldfish. That place was Dandy Orandas, run by Joann Burke and my fisrt Ranchu's were soon in there new 75gal tank. I have to be truthful at this very moment I don't own a single Ranchu. I have gone through several phases of fish breeding mostly with Apisto's and Rainbows. But I have come full circle and plan to purchase and breed my favorite fish the Ranchu. Although Ranchu's are my favorite I could never forget my first, so in my fish room I do a 55gal tank with 3 nice Orandas and the 75gal I bought 20 years ago for the Ranchu's has 6 Wakins in it. Well I could go on for ever but as the wife would say "let's not". I hope to get to know all of you soon.
