I have been looking at on-line places to get some pond plants. What makes me mad is that the places that seem to have a good reputation (on returns, quality, etc) want you to buy in bulk and I want a variety without have to spend an arm and a leg on them! I have some water lettuce and water hyacinth, but I really want some duckweed and other varieties. I don't have any places around me that sell pond plants, so buying on-line is my only option. So frustrating!!!

You can join some plant forum and trade over there. If you want duckweek, I can give you small amount to start. You just need to pay for shipping.

Thanks so much! I may take you up on that soon. I am going out of town next week, but hopefully I can get some from you when I get back? I would be happy to send you the money for shipping and appreciate the offer!:worship:

Have you checked Ebay? There are quite a bit of sellers there. Just check the seller feedback and you should find a good deal on what your looking for.

Thank you, Fred. It is slow going at the mo. The docs ran tests, but could not find any blockages, so they think the stroke may have been caused by a spike in her blood pressure. She can hardly move her right hand and arm and she also has trouble with her right leg some. Her blood pressure has been severely low since the stroke happened, and that is the main worry we have right now. We can hardly get a BP from her that is higher than 74/47.
