Looks like we have quite a crowd now! Some wonderful people here. Good to see all of you.
I have only 8 goldfish - 2 comets, a common, an oranda, a Raingarden watonai, an American shubunkin, and two homespawned fry. I'm in the process of doing a bit of shuffling and two of the comets will be leaving to make room for some Midnights from Gary Hater. I like a little of everything! :)
I've been keeping for 4 years now and like many of you, I started with the carnival fish in the goldfish bowl. Fortunately I'm a fast learner, and said carnival fish is still alive at 16 inches and growing. I'm currently a coldwater mod over at AquariaCentral. Long term plans include a pond (or four) once we move out of our townhouse into a ground-floor place, and I'd love to do some work with the Midnight line.
I also keep over a dozen species of aquatic snails.
