Pretty much. Keep in mind the female is pretty soft when ripe so it looks like more pressure than it is..

here you can see how little pressure is needed when they are ready. after loosing a few we learn just how delicate they are. just two strokes are good for about 300-500 eggs. males also need very little pressure.
